Here we have an absolutely stunning example of an Elgin Shockmaster. It has 19 Jewels and was produced in the USA 1959.
The caliber 676 is used and is adjusted I 63084.
This has a cool engraving on the back case "J.A. Taylor ROOKS COUNTY STATE BANK 50 YEARS 1909-1959" The case back is further unusual in that there are 4 heavy duty screws securing it to the case. The gaskets that were there are no longer in place-long since deteriorated.
From what I could see, Rooks County is in Kansas.
This piece has been thoroughly cleaned, lubricated, a new crystal has been installed along with a heavy duty black leather strap. The case shows no plate wear thru at all.
It measures 38.2mm lug to lug and 26.4mm wide.
